The name “Hok Tik Bio” literally means “Temple of Earth’s Virtue,” symbolizing its dedication to the Earth God, Hok Tek Ceng Sin, who is believed to be the protector and giver of blessings to devotees.

Established in the early 20th century by the long-settled Chinese community in Blora, the temple has served as a spiritual and social hub for generations. Tri Dharma Temple (TITD):
The temple is part of the Tri Dharma places of worship, embracing three major teachings: Confucianism, Taoism, and Mahayana Buddhism. Inside, there are various altars and sacred statues representing deities from these beliefs, including the Earth God, Kwan Im (the Goddess of Mercy), and Kongco Kong Tik Cun Ong.
